Scrapbook Retreat in AUGUST!

Yes, we had overwhelming response to our Aurora Crop, so we went ahead and booked another one in August.

Date: August 8-10 (Friday is a bonus day!)

Ribbon Pages Class!

Join us for our Ribbon Pages class that incorporates ribbon and uses the Cricut to build your page. It's very interactive! You will learn how to place ribbon in appropriate spots on the page. You'll also use the Cricut machine to cut some fun designs to add to your page. At the class you'll make 4 pages.

National Scrapbook Day 2008

We're packing and getting ready for our National Scrapbook Day event!  

This weekend we're loading up the trucks and heading down to Aurora's Hampton Inn & Suites  on Orchard/88 for a weekend filled with CROPPIN!  

If you want to stop by to see what it's all about- feel free.  We're there on Friday, May 2nd from 10am- Sunday at 5pm.  We hope to see you there.  We have a full store where you can purchase items and see our prizes too!

We'll be playing BINGO for prizes and all tickets go into the drawing for the GRAND PRIZE!  What will it be this time?  Come and see!

There's still room if you want to get away this weekend and crop!  Fri-Sun is $65, includes lunch on Saturday, unlimited drinks and snacks.  Interested in one day only?  $35 gets you cropping with us for a day!

Canvas Class Available!

We have a new class called the Canvas Class. In this class you can create a one of a kind piece of artwork on a 12x12 stretched canvas! At the class you'll learn how to paint/stain the canvas, add paper and embellishments to create a photo display that you can hang in your home!

Flip Flops!

Do you have a pair of older flip flops. They need help, huh? Try this cute technique - add lots of pieces of ribbon onto them. The trick is double-knotting them to make them stay on! Send us some photos (blog@onestopcropshop.com) so that we can post them here!

Lake Geneva Scrapbooking Songs!

In lake Geneva, we all took some time to create new songs to old tunes. We changed the lyrics to contain scrapbooking words. Some songs were sung to the tunes of Row, Row, Row Your Boat; Jack & Diane; The Brady Bunch; Sexyback; Dancing Queen; Do Wop, and more! Margi wins the Cricut in Lake Geneva!

Here are all of the tickets from the Lake Geneva Grand Prize Drawing. We took all of the tickets from the weekend and put them into one big box. One lucky winner was going to win the big 12x24" Cricut Cutting Machine! Who is it going to be????


It looks like the lucky winner is..... MARGI BRIGGS!!! Congratulations Margi! She was so excited that she rolled up the ramp to claim her prize. Yeah!!!

Margi and Janet are so excited to share in the new Cricut Machine! The level of excitement was uncontainable during this winning. I swear there were tears! I wonder what the grand prize is going to be at our next crop- April 2-3-4 at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Aurora, IL?!? Ask for details!
